TAP with YCM
Our program offers foreign educators an opportunity to gain experience in the most recognized education system in the world. Through TAP, teachers from the Caribbean and African countries are offered assistance in acquiring H-1B visas, which legally allows them to live and work in the US for a period of three years. This visa can be extended up to 6 years, and presents the opportunity to apply for a Green Card.

Requirements
Qualified to teach in any of the different educational levels (K-12) in your home country: Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle School, or High School.
Presently employed as a teacher, at the time of application.
A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the subject area you intend to teach in the U.S.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or the subject you intend to teach.
Completion of teacher preparation program.
No criminal record.
Proven proficiency in the English language.
